Language (lengua)= is for accuracy in grammar and vocabulary (they do not expect perfection, but communication) Message (mensaje)= if they ask for 3 recommendations, make sure to inlcude 3 not 2, if they ask for talking about a sad incident, use past tense and include a sad incident, not a funny one. Format (formato)= make sure to include ALL the formal conventions and register for the specific type of text. If you're writing a diary entry, talk to it, express your feelings, your secrets.
